Eligibility: HPST is open to any professionals or amateurs golfers forty-five and older (45). Proof of age is required and can be provided by a valid driver’s license, birth certificates, passport or visa. HPST reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone.

1.) Membership: will be $400.00 a player until we reach 75 members. HPST will only have 75 members for the 2008 season.

 2.) Entry fees: for those that join will be $525.00. Players 55 and up can go both ways for $300.00 more.

 3.) Super Seniors players 60 and over will pay $400.00 to be in Super Senior only.

 3b.) Non Members, Champions Tour Players and Monday Qualifiers  Entry fee $675.00,

(If Space is available)

4.) Anyone after Friday 5:00 PM will pay a $100.00 late fee.

            5.) All players must have an application filled out to play in an event or they will be DQ.

            6.) All players must have a credit card on file with the tour office to play in any event.

            7.) Fields: With a maxim field of 60 players, with the top forty percent being paid in each event.

8.) Dates: Two events a month starting in March, April, May, June, July, August, October, with Tour Championship in November.

            9.) Cities of events: We will select (16) wonderful venues.

            10.) Pairings: After the first day we will repair players each day by scores for the final two days.

11.) Super Seniors: will not be included in 60 man fields entry fees $400.00 if over sixty.

 12.) Applications for Memberships: All players will be notified by phone or e-mail about their membership to see if their

membership is accepted or not for the 2008 season.

            13.) Checks will be paid at next event if players are in field or sent to address on application.

 14.) Rules Officials: We plan on having two officials at each event one on the front side and one on the back nines.

            15.) Entries: Will be taken by phone or by E-mail.

 16.) The Tour has the right to open any tournament field up to more players on request of tournament sponsor. HPST/Tour has the right to refuse entry to any player that doesn't meet it standards.

17.) The top twenty (20) players on the money list are required to play in the pro-am if entry for that event.

18.) Amateurs 45 and older: Any amateurs 45 and older having a handicap of 8 or less may play in an event for a one time fee of $200.00

19.) Tournament Format: Will consist of 54 holes of stoke play. Rain shortened tournaments will consist of 18, 36 or 54 to be official.  Some events may cost members $ 575.00,

20.) NO SHOWS AND WITHDRAWALS: Withdrawals will be accepted with out penalty, when notice is given by 5PM the Wednesday before the event. For withdrawals after Wednesday deadline, the player will waive his entry fee to the tournament. Medical and personal withdrawals will be evaluated on a case to case basis. Playing in other events at the same time of our event is a lost of entry fee period. If accepted there will be a $150.00 Administrative fee. No refund or credit will be given for any reason once a player has teed off. NO SHOWS, will not receive a refund or credit for any reason. FULL REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY PLAYER THAT QUALIFIES FOR A CHAMPIONS TOUR EVENT being held the same time as the HPST event.

21.) RAINOUTS: All decisions for tournaments affected by rain will be made on a case to case basis by the Tournament Officials and the host professional. A rain-shortened tournament is official only after 18, 36, or 54 have been completed. No partial rounds will count.

22.) Payment Policy: HPST will accept checks, cash money orders, cashiers check or Visa, Master Card or Discover. All credit cards will have a $15.00 charge add on them. All checks for winnings will be sent out no later then two weeks after an event.

23.) Practice Rounds: Official practice rounds are set for Monday before tournaments some time they may be set on Sunday. Practice are set at a reduce rate of $20.00 per player. Range balls are free for MEMBERS ONLY. Non-Members will pay for practice rounds and range balls.

24.) Private Information: All players/members of this tour address, e-mail and phone number will remain private and will not be given out to anyone for any reason.

25.) Player’s Attire: Slacks are required during practice rounds, pro-ams and tournament play and at all functions, parties, and Junior Clinic. Shirts are to collared and tucked in trousers. No jeans allowed.

26.) Purses: They will be forty per cent of the fields being paid in 2008. Players will play for 100% of their entry fees. If charities fail to have a pro-am to pay course fees the tour will take course fee out of purse.

27). Range Finders: These devices will be used on experimental bases. If HPST board think they are harmful to pace of play these devices will be stopped.

28.)  Alcohol: No players may consume alcohol during a tournament, First time offence DQ from that event, Second time rule off for the year.

29.) Exempts Spots: The tour has the right to give away three exempts spots at each event. Players that play other tours the

the same time we are having an event will lose their privileges with the HPST.

Players Agreement 2008

I herby grant Heartland Players Senior Tour, Inc. all rights to any personal or historical information herein for media and public relations use.

I have read and understand the 2008 tour information brochure. I agree to comply with the policies and guidelines set forth by the Heartland Players Senior Tour. I am not eligible for any prizes other than the purse money, day money or skins in the events in which I participate. I understand that I am an independent contractor, and not an employee of the Heartland Players Senior Tour, INC. As an independent contractor, I am responsible for my own personal liability insurance. I also agree to hold harmless the Heartland Players Senior Tour, Inc and the host facility and its sponsors from any responsibility for any injury, Damages, and /or medical expenses during my involvement, in an event with the Heartland Players Senior Tour, Inc.
