From the 1950s until today, promoting and building a constantly improved
work for golf and golfers has become exactly what Bob Hope said --- golf is something
at which we must work to ensure success today and a future for tomorrow.
In the same timeframe, the largest single group of golfers ever has come
into its own -the Baby Boomers of the late 40s and 50s now comprise the greatest
number of constant players we have ever encountered.
Most importantly for the Heartland Players Senior Tour, these affluent Baby
Boomers fit the exact 47+ year-old age requirements of our Senior mini-tour. And,
from the professional golfing associations, will continue to do so for at least the
next 20 years. Five, simple reasons make HPST an essential part of the next two
	decades in golf.
Our members constitute the ultimate, proven players ethics of golf.
Whether or not they still break 80, whether or not they go on to play the
Senior PGA, these players are true pros celebrating a great tradition. And, I
am proud that the Heartland Players Senior Tour is where they come to keep
	that tradition alive.
For professionals, the HPST provides an essential middle
ground between the PGA and the Senior PGA. By the same token, for those
who drop from the Senior PGA, the HPST is a peer group to which one
can return and play at any time.
For amateurs, the accessibility of the HPST is something
more. It's an inspiration and an example for the players of tomorrow.
Every HPST event gives amateurs an exceptional chance to meet,
play with and study the form of some of the golf's great names.
All of this for less than the cost of one round on most major courses.
With more and more golf courses being built, HPST Events
actively draw players and spectators to the game. HPST events
 	create member enhancement; employee enhancement;
revenue enhancement; community enhancement; and, overall, work
	to build clubs' reputations.
By working with corporate America, the HPST also
inspires new supporters for the world's second oldest profession.
Sponsor companies are provided benefits for sharing with
employees, rewarding high performers, and the chance to break the
monotony of an office environment while having fun and contributing
joy and caring to the lives of children and families throughout
	the Southwest.
I am extraordinarily proud of what our members,
professionals and associates have contributed to the future of golf in
	America.
	Bless You, an Your Game!
