PRESS RELEASES:
Thank you for visiting our web site. What you are getting ready to view is my summary of nine years in the Mini Tour business.
In life we try to do many things that will be helpful for others. Many people have come and gone since we entered this business.
There are a many different reasons why they come and go. To have a successful tour you must be HONEST and FAIR. Our reputation says it all.
We have also learned over the years how to help others accomplish their goals. We have donated over $4,600,000.00 to charity the past ten years and will continue to help charity at each event. There is no better feeling than giving back to the local community or helping children in need.
Over the years we have never lost focus of what we wanted to do for charities and players. Playing for bigger purses is not the answer. Giving back to each local community is the answer, making a different. No other tours give money to charities on the local level like HPST does.
In 1997 we had one of the best 50 year-olds in the country playing with this tour. David Lundstrom won five of the six events he played on this tour that year. During this year he was the number one qualifier at the Senior PGA Qualifying School. In 2000, he won $691,000 and became one of the best players on the Senior PGA Tour.
So, as you can see, we do have the best of the best! In 1997 we had nine of our players qualify for the U.S. Senior Open and eight players in 1998. This tour has been graced by some of the best to the play the game of golf. To name just a few, David Lundstrom, Keith Fergus, Ed Fiori, Randy Petri, Rocky Thompson, Frank Conner, Denis Watson, Bruce Vaughan, Rex Caldwell, Dean Overturf, Babe Hiskey, Robert Landers, Jim Pinkham, Bob Rawlins, Jackie Cupit, Jessie Patino, Kurt Cox, Steve Veriato, Bobby Ralston, Ed Fiori, John Paul Cain, John Grace, Jack Spradlin, and Jerry Bruner.
Every year we have been in this business we have had someone go to Q-School and make the Senior PGA Tour. That is an accomplishment in itself. It only speaks volumes for the great players we have on this tour. And what our members expect.
If you are 46 or older and would like to compete at a very high level, this is the place. Our 2008 schedule is being posted on this web site. We would like to have you on this tour!
We understand our success scares a lot of people but when you have as many good people as we do helping us, you could be as successful. Come and join where success is like falling off a rock. We have learned over the years that you must do things for everyone not a just a few.
Sincerely,
Gary Curry, President
